An easy, high protein, weeknight dinner idea that I just threw together on a whim and came out great! I stuffed mine in a pita pocket because that’s what I had on hand, but a burrito wrap and even hard or soft taco shells would also rock. Let’s make ‘em!
1 white onion, sliced
Ground meet of choice
McCormick Spice Montreal Steak Blend
Wrap of choice (I used a pita pocket)
Greek yogurt sauce - 5 oz plain nonfat Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp fresh dill, 1 tbsp fresh parsley, juice of 1 lemon, 1 large clove garlic minced, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp salt.
Caramelized onions by thinly slicing and add to pan with avocado oil, salt, garlic powder. Cook on low-ish until onions are soft and a beautiful caramel color. Takes the longest so start these first!
Mix all greek yogurt sauce ingredients in a bowl together and set aside.
Ground meat in a pan with Montreal steak blend and onion powder.
Cut remaining toppings of choice.
Add everything to a wrap and enjoy!
