Are you ready for a Pressure Cooker recipe that is ready from start to finish in less than 30 minutes? OH AND… tastes like restaurant quality take-out? OH AND… is healthy and absolutely delicious? It’s actually freaking me out how easy this PRESSURE COOKER MONGOLIAN BEEF AND BROCCOLI is to make!
I used just a few simple steps of browning the beef, mixing together a sauce, and pressing a few buttons, and just like that, it’s done and ready to eat! I developed this recipe my weekly Live video on Instagram and FaceBook called #CookingWithCail. It was so delicious that I made it again during the week to make a few changes, and I’m probably going to make it a third time over the weekend because it’s THAT GOOD, y’all!
I used All Natural Shaved Beef Steak from Trader Joe’s in this recipe. It truly makes my life easy as hell – because I’m a busy squirrel. Anyone else? The meat is already shaved into perfectly thin bite-sized pieces, and works great for this recipe. If you don’t have a TJ’s, don’t worry – I’m sure your grocery store has it, too! If they don’t have the Shaved Beef Steak, purchase a flank steak and thinly slice it how ya like it for this recipe. It will add a few minutes, but this recipe is so worth it.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1.5 lbs All Natural Shaved Beef Steak
- 3/4 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Coconut Aminos (or Soy Sauce)
- 1.5 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
- 1.5 tbsp Raw Honey
- 2 cups Broccoli
- Brown Jasmine Rice (cooked according to package instructions)
- Green Onions for garnish
Instructions
- Press the "Sauté" button on your pressure cooker and add oil and shaved beef. Stir and cook about 5 minutes, until beef is browned.
- While beef is cooking, stir together 1/2 cup water, coconut aminos, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Once beef is browned, add sauce to the pressure cooker and stir to combine.
- Place the lid on the pressure cooker and turn to locked position. Make sure the pressure valve is closed. Cook on high pressure for 12 minutes. (Side note: It will take about 7-10 minutes to pressurize before the timer starts to count down!)
- While beef is cooking, whisk together 1/4 cup water and whole wheat flour in a small bowl and chop broccoli into small florets.
- As soon as 12 minutes are up on the pressure cooker, immediately release the pressure valve. BE CAREFUL, Y'ALL.
- Press the "Sauté" button and add flour/water mixture, broccoli florets, and honey into the pot. Stir and sauté about 7 minutes, until broccoli is softened and sauce has thickened.
- Serve over jasmine rice and top with green onions. ENJOY!
