Ingredients
- 3 large chicken breasts, chopped into bite sized pieces
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp arrowroot flour
- Jasmine rice
Instructions
- Press the sauté button on your instant pot.
- Add sesame oil and chopped chicken breasts to instant pot and cook about 5 minutes.
- While cooking, whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to make the sauce then add it to the chicken.
- Close and lock the lid. Make sure the pressure valve is closed.
- Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes and let pressure naturally release.
- Whisk together arrowroot flour and 2 tbsp water and add to the orange chicken once done.
- Press the sauté button again and let the chicken continue to cook while the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Once sauté is a consistency you like, serve over jasmine rice and enjoy.
