Today, I’m showing you how to make a delicious, healthy “takeout” recipe straight from your own kitchen. In just minutes, you can prepare this simple, but incredible flavorful dish and serve it up for your family for a weeknight meal. I can’t wait for you to try this one!
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 white onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1/4 head purple cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 tbsp soy sauce / coconut aminos
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté onion, cabbage, and carrots in 1 tbsp sesame oil, covered, about 10-15 minutes, or until veggies are cooked down and softened.
- Remove from pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, brown ground chicken in 1 tbsp sesame oil until cooked through.
- Add vegetables back to the pot with the chicken, along with black pepper and soy sauce.
- Sauté together about 5 minutes.
- Serve and garnish with fresh chopped green onions.
