Hello there!

My name is Cailyn and I am a fitness and food-aholic. My life totally revolves around a great workout (Pump) and a delicious meal (Crunch), and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Here’s my story…

Let’s start with fitness.. My love of exercise began before I was even in high school, if I remember correctly. I’ve always felt like my BEST self after a hot, sweaty workout. So I took my passion of exercise and shared it with others. I am currently an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, an Orangetheory Fitness Coach, a CycleBar CycleStar, and I teach Hot Power Yoga. All in a day’s time, and I love it with all of my heart. Personally, I believe that coaching and instructing others around me to better themselves and to step outside of their comfort zone is THE most rewarding experience. Relationships and friendships are made, sweat is shared, goals are achieved, and we have fun while doing so. There truly is nothing better!

Before we move any further, I’ll admit something to you… I am not perfect. I don’t exercise 7 days a week and I definitely have cheat days. Lots of them. But my blog’s purpose is to make healthy living accessible.

Now let’s get to the good stuff… FOOD. Aside from the gym, my kitchen is my happy place. It is where I can let my creativity fly with no hesitations. I love making healthy food taste great. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring or a burden, as some may say. Combining fresh and nutritious ingredients together (in the most simple way possible) is my specialty. With my busy work schedule, I’m always looking for something quick that I can throw together, so most of my recipes are exactly that. You’ll find recipes on my blog that are quick, easy, and that will make you FEEL GREAT, mentally and physically.

Lastly, let’s talk protein. As I mentioned earlier, my kitchen is my place to experiment. It’s like my laboratory. It is where the recipe for my original protein bar was born. After changing the ingredients and process countless times to achieve the perfect nutritional content, texture, and taste, the end product is my Pump and Crunch Protein Bar. They are nutrient dense, energy sufficient, contain clean ingredients, and most importantly, they are delicious. What started as selling these out of my house to a few friends, grew drastically over a very short time. These bars are my growing child! For a taste, visit my online store.

In conclusion, do what makes you happy people. Don’t listen to anyone else. If you want to do something, go for it. Follow your dreams until you get exactly what you want in life. YOU are amazing, worthy, and can achieve greatness! Work your A$$ off every. single. day. and always strive to be better. Toss the bad, and only move forward with the good. Live your BEST life by doing what makes YOU happy, not anyone else. And most importantly, eat well, sweat, and laugh until you cry with the people who make you smile so big your cheeks hurt.
